The Major team hosted the Des Moines Menace on Saturday May 23rd in the semi-finals of the Region II Open Cup. Although the Menace drove in on the same day they definitely didn't start out slow jumping to a 2-0 half-time lead. The Bavarians came out determined and focused in the second half and mounted a comeback. Three goals in the span of ten minutes (Kyle Zenoni, two and Matt Blouin) helped erase the 0-2 deficit.

The Bavarians now advance to face Nebraska in the Open Cup Regional Final vs Nebraska. The winner will represent the region at Nationals in July in Orlando.
